What are the most popular shield skins? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm making this thread because I'm thinking about farming some 15AL Q7 or 16AL Q8 shields. I want to know which skins are more popular and therefore more easy to sell.

Try Darkwing Defenders and Enameled Shields - both fetch hundreds of ectos

Given that even common skin low req shields can't really be farmed for, Good luck

What I hate is that I got a darkwing defender the other day that was a req9 but only had something like 11 armor I was very sad.

The best thing to do would be to browse through recent Sell threads in Ventaris to see what shields are being sold and what prices they are getting.
Some people don't care about skins and just want the requirement so they can mod it and use it.
I've seen the Conch shields selling quite a lot but personally I don't like them. Things like the Tall Shield and Spiked Targe seem to get quite high prices recently, Tower Shields and the Aegis ones are popular as well and tend to show up a lot less than other skins.

I think only Great Conches can be farmed easily (by doing raptor farming over and over again).

Anything can be farmed easily, you just need to find a large amount of monsters in a single area and kill them all, over and over and over and over thats how I got my Hand Axe (Tyrian) 20/20, 15/-1, +30 HP Max Damage.

If you are primarily interested in AL15/q7 and 16/q8 shields, it doesn't matter too much what skin it has, although, of course, a shield that is worth something as an AL16/q9 will be worth even more as q7 or q8.

Another question, what all drops Enameled Shields? I checked wiki and there is nothing really in common. I suspect it might just be all of EotN
